[H.ead] Sablefoot's head is bigger than most cats' heads are, even though it is in perfect proportions with her body.

[E.yes] Sablefoot's eyes are something out of the ordinary. Extraordinary. They are huge, and almost innocent. Except for the fact that they are like ice. And not in just the hardness. They are a multitude of blue. Many hues hide within their depths. They are mostly a light blue, icy blue. But if one would look closely there are shard-like additions of dark, midnight blue.

[N.eck] Sablefoot's neck seems too small and weak to hold up such a head. In reality it is very strong, much stronger than it looks.

[S.houlders]
Muscles of iron, and big ones at that, cover these bones and joints. These shoulders are designed for fighting and long hauls.

[T.orso]
This is actually a bit slimmer than you would think it should be. This comes from having no fat, but wiry muscles.

[L.egs] Long and muscled, these little pretties make up almost half her height. They are perfect for a mix of fighting, and stalking prey.

[T.ail] This is the only part of her body that is abnormal, or out of proportion. Her tail is wildly long, and thin. She has almost no muscles to protect this part of her body, which makes it a vulnerability, a weak spot.

[P.aws] Small, comparing to the rest of her body, big comparing to other cats. Her paws hide huge, menacing, lethal, claws.

[F.ur] Sablefoot's fur is midnight black, and seems wiry. If one were ever to touch her fur, they would be for a heck of a surprise. It is soft, and fully groomed at all times. She has plenty of it, making it seem even more glossy, and sheened.

[S.ablekit]
Three bundles of wet fur lay by the queen. She licked each gently, cleaning their fur. Two were crow black, the other white as snow. She smiled as she picked names for each. "Ravenkit, Whitekit, Sablekit," She recited the names as if they were a song. The leaves at the entrance to the nursery trembled as Spinclaw forced his way through. "Oh," He breathed in wonder. Ebonyeye pretended to appraise the kits, while really processing his reaction. He seemed happy, awed by them at the least. She smiled again, to herself, and purred as she licked the bundles with more force.

[Sablekit had a good kithood, much loved and much attended by her mother, Ebonyeye. Sablekit was always dominant than her sister Ravenkit and her brother Whitekit. Her father died of greencough when the kits were two moons old.]

[S.ablepaw]
The black apprentice bounced about excitedly. She was almost as big as her mentor. He had to work to control her. "Calm down Sablepaw, its only a training trip." He had to force the corners of his lips down as his beloved apprentice jumped about with more strength. "I know, thats the exciting part!" She panted in time with her hops. For Sablepaw her mentor, Fogpelt, was like the father she never had. Everyone told her that her father was a legendary warrior, and that his fighting expertise was in her blood. They would never know the pain she endured when watching other kits pounce on their father and playfully skirmish with him. They would never know how the fissure line in her heart would throb, and she would end up doubled over, trying to hold herself together. Ravenpaw just didn't think about it. She didn't associate other kits with herself and her siblings. So she never had suffered anything like Sablepaw. Whitepaw simply wouldn't endure it. Sablepaw suspected that he felt it worse than she did. After about a moon of apprentice-hood Whitepaw went out on a so called hunting trip, alone. Three days later his body was found. The clan had thought it was a homicidal fox. Only Sablepaw knew better. She knew there had never been a fox. She guessed that Whitepaw had inflicted the wounds on himself to make it look so, and then cut his own throat. Sablepaw could hardly get by herself, and she couldn't imagine the pain being worse. So, whenever she thought of Whitepaw, she thought of him with pride, and respect, for being able to take that step. Sablepaw knew she couldn't. Ravenpaw was a priority. She had suffered greatly from her brother's death. Sablepaw knew that she wouldn't have been able to take it if Sablepaw had left as well.

[Sablepaw's apprenticehood was painful, she thought the pain would ease. It didn't. Though she began to feel more immune, like her nervous system was failing and she couldn't feel the pain, she knew the pain was the same degree.]

[S.ablefoot] "I, Greystar, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. She has trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend her to you as a warrior in her turn. Sablepaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and protect and defend this Clan, even at the cost of your life?" Sablepaw nodded, never taking her eyes off her leader.
"Then by the powers of StarClan, I give you your warrior name. Sablepaw, from this moment you will be known as Sablefoot. StarClan honors your strength and your flexibility, and we welcome you as a full warrior of MistClan." Sablefoot licked the grey shoulder offered respectfully. The clan cheered. She accepted congratulations graciously. Then she settled down to her vigil, watching the entrance carefully, without a word.

[M.oons L.ater] Sablefoot paced about restlessly. Ebonyeye lay, moaning, on a bed of ferns in the medicine den. Raventooth watched her almost identical sister patiently. Ebonyeye coughed feebly and tossed. Sablefoot cursed under her breath. The medicine cat bustled about, giving Raventooth and Sablefoot's mother poppy seeds, and complaining about the lack of herbs for green cough. Sablefoot was on the verge of crying. Here was her mother, dying at her paws, because of the same disease her father died of, and the medicine cat had nothing to do for it. Finally Sablefoot turned to the cat. "Is there any way to spare her the pain?" She asked quietly. The medicine cat's eyes grew wider and darker. "There are always deathberries." She said softly. Sablefoot looked at Raventooth for confirmation. Her sister nodded shakily. "Put her out of her misery," Said Sablefoot, turning away. Tears burned in her eyes as she raced out of camp. She heard one of the entrance guards yowl in surprise as she almost rammed into him. They started sprinting after her. She heard Raventooth's calm explanation and restraint. Raventooth was suddenly beside her, keeping pace. "Come back when you can," She murmured softly. Sablefoot nodded curtly, tears flying from her eyes. And then she was alone in her pain, racing through MistClan's territory, trying to keep herself together by ignoring the hole in her torso.

[L.ater T.hat M.oon] The Dawnstar cried out Sablefoot's name. The black she cat looked up in alarm. SHE was the deputy? She was sure it was going to be Sparklefur, the pretty white she cat that had dazzling white fur. She nodded at all the congratulations in a dazed state, not quite sure that she was awake.

[Sablefoot still suffers amazing amounts of pain when she thinks of her mother or father. When her mother was sick with greencough was probably the worst, most painful time of her life. She doesn't think she will ever forget that fateful night when she told the medicine cat to kill her mother.]

How did you stumble upon us? I clicked the link in the c-box on Paw Prints XD

Short RP Example:

The white lump lay unmoving. A malicious, evil, and foul scent hung around it. Crusted wounds covered the fur. Gore lay around it in piles. It's throat had been cut. It's beautiful, icy blue eyes lay open, staring into space, unseeing. It's mouth was slightly open, a silent scream of pain escaping it's muzzle.

Birds had landed around it. They were watching carefully for any movements, their sharp eyes alight with curiosity. After half a day of silence and stillness, they moved in, feasting on the body.

The forest was loud. Rustlings were audible in every corner. The search for Whitepaw was on.

Cats hunted the whole of the territory, not stalking prey, but their own apprentice.

A black she-cat stalked into the clearing. Tingles ran down her spine as she stared at the horrible sight. Then she sprinted to her brother's side, sobbing.

She lay there, guarding his body against the scavengers. "Oh, Whitepaw, oh Whitepaw," She kept murmuring. She couldn't stop.

His name was just a whisper on her lips when the clan cats stumbled into the clearing. They stared for a moment, as she had, and then whirled and sprinted, crying out as they ran. Sablepaw was sure Whitepaw's body was burned into their memories, as it was in her's.

She looked down again, horrified by the sight. She closed her eyes, praying to StarClan.

The white lump lay unmoving. A malicious, evil, and foul scent hung around it. Crusted wounds covered the fur. Gore lay around it in piles. It's throat had been cut. StarClan grant him peace.

Other: I hope no one minds if I spiffed up the form a bit. The essentials are still there, name, gender, age, etc.
